Q&A - AEROTECH
MY AEROTECH BIKE BOX WAS DAMAGED, AND THE AIRLINE WILL REIMBURSE THE REPAIR. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
If your Aerotech bike box was damaged, the airline will usually require a repair estimate or the bag's cost to process the reimbursement. Contact Scicon Sports customer service click here and send the following: a copy of the damage report (PIR Property Irregularity Report) issued by the airline, passenger and flight details, and a description of the issue. We will provide you with an estimate that you can forward to the airline to claim your reimbursement.
IS THE AEROTECH EVOLUTION COMPATIBLE WITH BIKES FEATURING TIRES LARGER THAN 622X26 AND INTEGRATED HANDLEBARS?
The Aerotech Evolution is compatible with wheels up to 67 cm in diameter (including tires) and tires sized up to 622x26 (Etrto). However, to fit the bike into the bike box, the handlebars need to be loosened and rotated. For bikes with integrated handlebars and internal cables, this operation can be complex, as it requires completely removing the handlebars. If you prefer to avoid these steps, we recommend the Aerocomfort 3.0 bike bag. This bag is designed for maximum ease of use without needing to remove the handlebars. It includes a metal internal frame for protection and additional padding to safeguard the bike's most delicate parts.
